It is the result of a major architectural regeneration project that has transformed the historic Liberty stables into an oasis of wellness and beauty, with 16,000 square metres of thermal pools, saunas, rituals, relaxation areas and a park in San Siro district.
Baths and swimming pools
At De Montel Terme Milano you can bathe in a unique thermal water, recognised by the Ministry of Health for its dermatological and regenerative properties.
This oligomineral thermal water, extracted from a depth of 396 metres below the city of Milan, feeds all the tubs and pools of the thermal spa. Each pool has a different temperature, depth and functionality, designed to offer personalised experiences of relaxation, health and beauty.

Situated outdoors and surrounded by the spa building, the Spring Pool is made up of two symmetrical baths. Named after the spa’s natural spring, it offers comfortable lounge chairs with hydromassage jets that gently soothe and embrace the body. The Hammam is both an intimate and sociable experience. It features two showers – for entering and exiting – and three steam rooms: one for acclimatisation, one for more intense steam and a third with self-treatment baths. This process is then repeated in reverse. Purifying, detoxifying, stimulating, oxygenating and calming, the Hammam fosters connection between people.

The Russian Banya offers one of the most intense sauna experiences, with temperatures reaching 90°C. Stemming from icy climates and ancient traditions, it is cherished by those who enjoy a challenge. This highly social experience combines heat, steam, and massages performed with venik—birch or oak twigs. It is invigorating, stimulating, and detoxifying, offering significant benefits for both body and soul.

It’s perfect for intimate moments like lounging or connecting with nature, as well as rejuvenating practices such as yoga, mindfulness and revitalising exercises like Pilates or bioenergetic therapy sessions.
