De Montel Terme Milano

For accessible and sustainable wellbeing

De Montel’s pact with Milan

Creating and making the spa complex accessible to everyone was one of De Montel’s main concerns. This led to a pact with Milan, ensuring support for all social groups through concessions, interventions and initiatives across the area.

Sustainability, its challenges and solutions

Finding innovative ways to make the complex and its operations sustainable has been one of the most significant challenges in response to climate change and growth objectives.

This is why De Montel has taken action on multiple fronts, both inside and outside the facility. Every detail matters: from the use of solar panels and insulation systems to the management of thermal water and rainwater recovery tanks. Emphasis is also placed on reducing food waste, efficient materials and waste management, as well as designing lawns, flowerbeds and planting trees over a ten-year period—all in line with the vision of a Milan that breathes, interconnected by green spaces.

A new era for urban wellbeing

Saving, producing, and recirculating energy; offsetting emissions generated by the business; promoting clean transportation options; and ensuring the city and its people can breathe are all integral parts of a broader strategy.

At De Montel, every action is linked to the next, creating a continuous cycle for a more liveable city. By offering wellbeing to the people of Milan, a new era of urban wellness is ushered in, with an eye on broader horizons for the future.
