REGULATIONS OF DE MONTEL THERMAL PARK – Terme Milano

Clients who access the De Montel – Terme Milano (hereinafter referred to as “De Montel”) are required to strictly comply with the rules of conduct set out in these Regulations in order to ensure their own and others’ health and safety and to preserve the facilities and the beauty of the environment, in accordance with the general principles of decency and public order.

De Montel’s facilities are available to all Clients, subject to the regulations listed below. Clients are also required to preserve their integrity and operation in compliance with hygiene and prevention regulations.

The purchase of an admission ticket implies full acceptance of these Regulations.

HOW TO GET IN AND OUT OF DE MONTEL:

Upon entering the centre, Clients receive (at the available reception counters, whether automatic or staffed), 1 single-use RFID wristband, which:

  • allows access to the centre through the automatic gates, the opening of their locker in the changing room, and the charging of any purchases made inside De Montel. Please note that no cash or other forms of payment are used within the centre
  • has your assigned locker number printed inside the men’s or women’s changing room, as well as the scheduled time for any additional services purchased such as buffet, treatments and/or massages
  • Clients are required to wear the single-use RFID wristband, securing it with the designated adhesive. In the event of loss, the Client is responsible for any additional services charged to the wristband. In the event of loss, please go immediately to Reception and notify the staff on duty.

 

Upon entering the changing rooms, Clients must:

  • collect 1 spa kit with a De Montel-branded towel and bathrobe: this linen is provided for hire, for a fee, for the duration of your stay at the centre and must be returned upon exit;
  • collect 1 pair of De Montel-branded slippers and 1 tote bag; Clients are encouraged to take them when leaving De Montel

 

Upon exiting De Montel, Clients are invited to:

  • return the spa kit, and the De Montel-branded towel and bathrobe at the designated counter located in the changing rooms, ensuring that no personal items are left behind inside the changing rooms;
  • take with them, as a gift, the slippers and tote bag used during their stay in De Montel;
  • settle and pay for any additional services purchased during the stay at the centre and charged to their RFID wristband, preferably via the automatic machines available in the centre, in order to avoid queues at the exit;
  • to facilitate exit without the need for check-out, Clients are invited to use the token service on the website demontel.it by providing their credit card details. In this way, any additional charges will be automatic, and it will be possible to exit through the gates without having to pass through the checkouts beforehand.
  • The RFID wristband is not reusable and can only be removed after leaving the thermal park exit gates.

 

Clients may not use kit and/or footwear other than those provided by De Montel.

Pets of any kind and size are not allowed inside De Montel

HEALTH INDICATIONS

Clients are invited to:

  • Avoid swimming immediately after eating and, in any case, during the digestion process.
  • Take short and frequent dips, so that the body can better adapt to the stimuli it receives. Not stay in the water for more than 20 minutes.
  • Not stay inside saunas and steam rooms for longer than 20 minutes. In case of discomfort, press the alarm button inside the experiences.
  • Alternate between dips with a relaxation period of at least 20 minutes.

Those who suffer from one or more of the medical conditions listed below, as an indication and without any intention of being exhaustive, are advised to consult the medical staff, who are available to Clients at De Montel during the scheduled hours and by phone throughout the centre’s opening hours (please contact the staff at the main Reception, the SPA Reception, or the lifeguards, who can provide all the necessary information to contact the medical staff):

  • Uncompensated heart conditions
  • Uncompensated high blood pressure or low blood pressure
  • Uncompensated chronic respiratory diseases
  • Acute skin conditions
  • Epilepsy or convulsive seizures
  • Varicose disease

DURING PREGNANCY

DURING PREGNANCY:Except in cases of high-risk pregnancy and any other obstetric-gynaecological issues, pregnant women may bathe in thermal waters. 

Remember that for a safe and beneficial bath in thermal water, the following recommendations are advised:

  • take dips lasting a maximum of 15 minutes and alternate them with breaks outside the baths of at least 10 minutes;
  • avoid submersion and keep your head above water;
  • avoid hydro-massage jets in the bath or waterfall directly on the abdomen.

Clients who identify with any of the conditions described above or are aware of additional health-related information not mentioned are required to have a consultation with the medical staff before accessing the pool. For more information on how to contact the doctor by phone, please ask the Reception, the SPA Reception or the lifeguards.

PROVISIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CLIENTS

  • De Montel shall not be liable for damage to persons and/or property resulting from non-compliance with these Regulations and disclaims all liability for accidents and/or damage to oneself or others caused by Clients’ negligence, lack of skill or recklessness.
  • Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to enter. (meaning the completion of the sixteenth year of age verifiable by means of an identity document). Minors who have completed 16 years of age will be permitted entry only if accompanied by an adult who declares to exercise parental authority (father, mother or guardian). On special opening days dedicated to families, as published on www.demontel.it, the minimum age is lowered to 8 years old. (meaning the completion of the eighth year of age verifiable by means of an identity document or by means of a declaration by the person exercising parental authority).
  • Entry is considered single-use, and the time included in the admission begins at the entry turnstile and ends at the exit turnstile. Any delays in the actual entry time compared to the purchased entry time will not entitle the client to a later exit nor guarantee the right to access De Montel. In the event of early exit before the purchased ticket’s expiration, re-entry to De Montel will not be possible. In the event of delayed exit beyond the expiration date of the purchased ticket, the Client shall pay the additional time as set out in the price list displayed at the Reception.
  • The RFID wristband received at the Reception is single-use and must be worn using the provided adhesive. The Client remains responsible for any charges made to the wristband within the establishment, even in the event of loss. Therefore, utmost care is advised.
  • De Montel assumes no responsibility for the belongings of Clients, even if stored in the lockers provided, and disclaims any liability for theft, loss or damage to valuables and/or items. De Montel will only take responsibility for any luggage that does not fit in the lockers, which will be stored in designated areas.
  • It is mandatory to enter the sauna area with a towel and wearing a swimsuit.
  • The use of audio/video players or speakerphone calls without headphones is prohibited, and mobile phone ring tones must be set to ‘silent’ mode.
  • All Clients are required to maintain a decent attitude inside and outside every area of De Montel, keeping their voice at an appropriate level for the environment and in the context of complete relaxation.
  • It is mandatory to leave all experiences, pools and saunas at least 30 minutes before the closing time.
  • In the event of thunderstorms, Clients are required, for their safety, to immediately leave the outdoor pools and water areas, even in the absence of specific instructions from the lifeguards.
  • Clients are required to follow the instructions provided by De Montel staff and, in particular, those from the lifeguards, who carefully manage safety, ensuring order and enjoyment during the wellness, fun and relaxation experience at De Montel.
  • For hygiene reasons and to protect the image of De Montel (common areas, changing rooms, gardens, etc.), it is prohibited to bring in and/or introduce any type of food and/or drink from outside.
  • For hygiene reasons, it is prohibited to consume food and beverages inside the pools and saunas, even if purchased within De Montel.
  • It is mandatory to take a shower before entering any pool and/or engaging in wellness activities.
  • It is mandatory to wear your swimsuit throughout the entire De Montel area, without exception. It is also mandatory to wear the De Montel bathrobe provided, even if you wish to access the SPA cabins or the restaurants and bars.
  • The provided slippers must be worn in all areas, and clients are encouraged to exercise caution while moving around.
  • The slippers should not be worn inside the pools and saunas, including steam rooms and all areas with salt presence.
  • When accessing the pools, please use the designated handrails and/or steps. Running, diving, and engaging in dangerous games are prohibited: De Montel is a place dedicated to relaxation, wellness and tranquillity. Pushing and jumping into the water from the edges of the pools are prohibited; water pranks can be dangerous, especially running along the poolside.
  • The use of fins, inflatable mattresses, rafts, or anything else that the staff may deem dangerous to pool-goers is prohibited.
  • Scuba diving is prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to release liquids or any other physiological substances into the water, as this violates hygiene regulations and poses a health risk to others. It is strongly discouraged to use the pools during the digestive process.
  • It is advisable to be cautious with silver and/or other metal objects worn, as they may oxidize and/or cause burns.
  • It is prohibited to bring glass, ceramics, or any other objects that may harm others into De Montel.
  • Access to De Montel is not allowed to individuals who are intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or any substances that alter the individual’s psychological and physical condition.
  • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited inside the thermal park, with the only exception being designated outdoor areas for smokers, which will be provided in accordance with current regulations.
  • In the event of damage to the structures, services, and equipment of De Montel, the Client will be held responsible for the damages caused.
  • De Montel disclaims all responsibility for anything left unattended and/or abandoned inside or outside the facility, including the lockers in the changing rooms, as well as in the parking areas.
  • Clients wearing prescription glasses and/or sunglasses inside De Montel are advised to be very careful and avoid contact with available products, as they may cause scratches on the lenses.
  • In the event of bad weather, no refunds are provided for tickets already purchased, regardless of the channel through which they were purchased.
  • It is prohibited to leave waste, which must be placed in the designated bins, uproot flowers, or damage plants and trees.

 

We invite Clients to:

  • Not use soaps, detergents, medicinal substances, or any other substances in the pools that may alter the chemical composition of the water.
  • Not offend decorum or morality with inappropriate or indecent clothing and behaviour.

Those who do not comply will be reminded by De Montel staff, and in the event of persistent violation of the aforementioned regulations, may be required to leave the thermal park without a refund of the ticket price and/or any expenses incurred.

 

All Clients are reminded that, for privacy-related reasons, as correctly stated at the entrance of De Montel and on the website www.demontel.it, it is not permitted to take photographs and/or record videos of third parties in the internal and external areas of the facility.

 

De Montel reserves the right to suspend entry to the facility in order to ensure the safety of Clients in case of excessive crowding, even during public holidays and long weekends.

 

In order to take advantage of reduced rates or special agreements, it is necessary to present the documentation indicated on the purchased entry ticket.
